Physical Ed major. Coached for years

1971 team. Going to national championships in Sudbury

What was your first job after graduation?
Teaching grade 7 class in Merritt, B.C.
What advice do you have for current student-athletes?
Keep involved in sports. Build solid relationships…they last forever!!
What's the best career advice you can give to a student or recent alumni?
Find the job you love, passionate about.Â
How have you used your varsity athletic experience in your current career/life?
Yes. Team work and camaraderie. It's the fun after the game!!!
Do you have a mentor?  How have they influenced you?
All my coaches and teachers. You always remember them for the way they treated you.
How and where do you find inspiration?
My fellow teammates in hockey, my grandkids.
Anything particular insights over the past six months?
How important it is to socialize and keep connected with your friends during COVID. Keep in touch with family and friends more!!

Biking, keep healthy
What question would you ask other T-Birds/mentors?
Hope my former team mates are healthy? If only Barry Wilcox would have passed me the puck, we might have won the National Championship!!! Lol.Â
