Coach's Take
"I think we are improving each week and we are certainly creating a number of goal scoring chances which is always positive," said UBC head coach
Mike Mosher. "As I said from the start, we have the weapons and key attacking pieces, it is a matter of finding how those pieces fit together and then them all getting familiar with each other. I think we still have room to keep growing as we head into this final stretch drive."
Mosher went on to say he expects some intense matches against two top Pacific Division rivals.
"I expect two very difficult games this weekend from UFV and TWU," added Mosher. UFV always play us tough and get up for these games and they will be desperate after their first tough weekend of the season in losing twice to TWU. The Spartans have a good team and I expect them to be right there in the hunt when it comes time to decide the other team at nationals. We were very good against them the first time we saw them and scored some top goals on that day, going out to their pitch always presents some challenges."
