VANCOUVER – The four-game series between the UBC Thunderbirds and the Corban (Ore.) Warriors scheduled for this weekend at Softball City in Surrey, B.C., has been moved because of weather issues and unplayable field conditions.
The contests will now be played March 4-5Â in Wilsonville, Ore., at Wilsonville High School.
UBC's first Cascade Collegiate Conference doubleheader of 2017 will take place Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday's twinbill has games scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The second tilt on Sunday is a non-conference game, and doesn't count in the CCC softball standings. It may be cancelled to ensure the first three matchups are completed.
