VANCOUVER – On October 20th at 6:30pm we're storming Thunderbird Stadium in this spirited celebration of community and sports. Come watch the UBC women's soccer team take on the University of the Fraser Valley's Cascades in a heated rivalry match for Lower Mainland bragging rights.

Thunderstruck is our annual event highlighting women in sports to celebrate and acknowledge their achievements as well as to remind ourselves of the ongoing dialogue of gender equality in the competitive sports community. This year, Thunderstruck will feature our Thunderbirds' women soccer team as they fight for the title of the 2017 national champions.

The UBC women's soccer team are six-time national champions and 15-time Canada West champions. Watch them as they attempt to add to those totals.
