UFV also took care of the two visiting teams from BC's interior. The Cascades took care Thompson Rivers on Friday 1-0 and the dominated UBC Okanagan on Saturday in a 3-0 victory.

By the Numbers

3 – the number of games so far this season that UBC has come from behind in a match to earn points so far this season. A considerable amount when you consider they didn't trail in a game all of last season.

7- the amount of goals so far this season scored by first or second year members of the UBC Thunderbirds. The youth movement is for real at UBC.

Players To Watch

Coach's Take

"Both TWU and UFV are off to good starts in their 2016 seasons and that makes these games this coming weekend massive in terms of who will secure top spots in the division," says UBC Head Coach Mike Mosher.  "Both teams come off weekends where they shutout their opponents so they are obviously doing things right on the defensive side of the ball, so that will present some challenges to us in attack.  It is crazy to think we are into the first days of classes, yet after this weekend games we will be close to halfway into our league conference schedule."
