Sunday sees the Thunderbirds in Edmonton to take on the 3-0-1 University of Alberta Pandas. Alberta currently sits one point behind Trinity Western University for top spot in the division - but have a game in hand.

Jasmine Mander and Megan Douglas scored in the 2nd half to even things up at 2. In Langley, UBC came from behind again to earn a 1-1 draw against the division leading Spartans.

Shayla Chorney – (#14, F) –  the veteran forward's second goal of the year was a big one, as she helped the T-Birds take a point away from Trinity Western University. Chorney is one of only 2 player to get a goal against the Spartans.

Jasmin Dhanda – (#9, F) – UBC's leading scorer got her third assist of the season last weekend and continued her offensive onslaught with 9 more shots, bringing her total to 46 on the year.

"We have been playing very well through our opening matches and are ready to raise it to another level. We are getting into dangerous spaces and causing teams to defend us for long stretches of time. We are hoping to continue this over the weekend on a tough road trip to Prince George and Edmonton."
