VANCOUVER – The defending Canadian Direct Insurance BC Premier League champion UBC Thunderbirds defeated the Victoria Vikes 50-15 on Saturday afternoon to advance to their second straight Rounsefell Cup final.
The 'Birds will face No. 2 seed Burnaby Lake on Saturday, April 30 at West Vancouver's Klahanie Park in the 2016 provincial championship.
Earlier in the day, UBC's First Division side Braves lost 15-7 to Capilano RFC in the Library Square League semifinals.

Manar Kulkhan (Coquitlam, B.C.) each recorded a pair of tries while
Andrew Coe (Markham, Ont.),
Sam Clark (Vancouver) and
Mike O'Toole (Delta, B.C.) also went over for scores in Saturday's Premier League semifinal.
Brock Staller (Vancouver) kicked the remaining points for the 'Birds with a penalty and six conversions.
Up 33-3 at the half, the 'Birds only conceded tries in the final 15 minutes when UVic's Kevin Leask went over for two scores. Morgan Tate kicked a UVic penalty with scrum half James Pitblado adding a conversion.
It is UBC's seventh consecutive 15's win over Victoria.
