Marcus Toye found the back of the net to increase the Thunderbirds lead to 5-0.Â
Â
SFU's Aaron Enns would evenutally break
Matt Hewitt's shutout bid. Playing in his first game in a Thunderbirds uniform, Hewitt faced just 13 shots on the night, where UBC fired 33 on the SFU net. There was no scoring in the third period of play. 5-1 was the final.
