VANCOUVER – The Thunderbird Football Association (TFA) is excited to announce that Brent Johnson, Javier Glatt and Marco Iannuzzi will take part in a panel at this year's Gala:
Brent Johnson: Originally from Kingston, Ont., Brent played his university football at Ohio State University. After earning All Big-10 honours as a senior in 2000, he was drafted in the third round by the BC Lions. He played 11 years with the Lions, winning a Grey Cup in 2006 and 2011. Along the way he was recognized many times as one of the most outstanding defensive players in the CFL.

Javier Glatt: Originally from Calgary, Javier played his university football at the University of British Columbia. As a Thunderbird, he earned many awards, which included Canada West Defensive Player of the Year, as well as being named a three-time CIS All Canadian. In 2003 he was drafted in the second round by the BC Lions and in 2006, was a crucial member of Grey Cup-winning team.

Marco Iannuzzi: Marco is also from Calgary, but decided to take the junior route before heading to university. He won a Canadian Junior Football League National Championship with the Edmonton Huskies and then worked his way to Harvard where he had a successful four year career, setting a new school record for yards per kickoff return. In 2011, the BC Lions drafted Marco in the first round where he was able to contribute to the Lion's 2011 Grey Cup win.
