CALGARY – Hitting the water for the first meet of the season, the UBC swimming team had a strong performance at the Dinos University Invitational Friday night in Calgary. The women won, while the men finished second.
Calgary is sight of this season's CIS Nationals and the Thunderbirds were able to see how they stack up against one arguably their biggest rival. On the women's side
Savannah King led the way, winning a pair of events, while on the men's side
Kelly Aspinall was the big winner, taking home first place in three individual events and two relays.
