The UBC Thunderbirds men's hockey dropped the first two games of its three-game exhibition trip to the United States.
On Saturday, UBC lost 4-1 to No. 14 Nebraska Omaha at the CenturyLink Center.
Marc Desloges tied the game at 1-1 at 19:44 of the first period on a power play goal, 58 seconds after Matt White had opened the scoring for UNO.
But the Mavericks responded with three unanswered goals, including two from Brock Montpetit, to clinch the win.

Jordan White made 33 saves in the game for UBC, which was outshot 37-18.
The next night, UBC travelled to Minneapolis to take on the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers.
In front of 6,535 at Mariucci Arena, the Thunderbirds dropped a 3-0 decision to the home team.
UBC went down early, as Jake Hansen scored the winning goal 1:25 into the game on a one-timer in the slot.

Steven Stanford made 14 saves in the first period, and 41 in all.
UBC didn't get a shot in the first 16 minutes of the game and managed just ten in the game.
Erik Haula added the insurance goal for Minnesota about two minutes into the third period, beating Stanford with a shot that hit the crossbar and into the net.
UBC will now head to Mankato to face the Minnesota State Mavericks at 5:00 p.m.
