The UBC Thunderbirds men's and women's cross country teams both rank among the best in the most recent NAIA Coaches' Top 25 polls. The men maintained their position as the no. 5 ranked team in the NAIA, while the women improved one spot and are now ranked tenth overall.
The two UBC squads head to Portland, OR this weekend to compete in the Puma Cross Country Classic. They will also contest the BC Cross Country Championships to be held on October 31st before their conference meet the following weekend.
The T-Birds are heading to San Diego for the NAIA Region I Cross Country Championships scheduled for November 11th. Their conference season comes to a close with qualified athletes heading to the NAIA Cross Country Championships in Portland on November 21.
