MUSCLE MLK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK



Harleen Sidhu recorded a total of 35 points for the UBC Thunderbirds as they split with the Saskatchewan Huskies in Canada West women's basketball on the weekend.
 
Sidhu scored 16 points to lead all Thunderbirds players in a 60-50 victory on Friday night. She also added five rebounds.
 
On Saturday, Sidhu recorded 19 points and three steals in a 75-62 defeat.
 
She moved into 15th place in the Canada West scoring after upping her average to 14.1 points a game.
 
Regular season action for all teams in the conference will resume in January.
