Jack Wood led the UBC Thunderbirds men's golf team to an 11th place finish at the 2014 NAIA Men's Golf Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida.

A first-year student athlete from Banff, AB, Wood finished tied for 12th overall at even par with rounds of 72-73-71 in the rain-shortened championship.

He was named to the NAIA All-Tournament Team.

Next up, Wood and the rest of the Thunderbirds will be in Winnipeg, Manitoba to defend their title at the 2014 Golf Canada University/College Championship June 3-6.
