Senior runner Catharine Farish won the women's 800 metres at the UBC Invitational on Saturday, April 5. The native of Kingston, Ont. crossed the finish line in two minutes and 13.25 seconds, surpassing the NAIA 'A' standard. Her time was the fifth-fastest in the NAIA so far this year.

Farish has now qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, taking place May 22-24 in Gulf Shores, Ala., in both the 800- and 1500-metre runs.
