Maddison Penn is quickly leaving her mark on Canada West women's basketball. The 2nd year guard/forward from Avoca Beach, Australia was a dominating scorer in the Thunderbirds two wins against regional rivals UVic.

In UBC's Friday night victory Penn scored 26 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. She was even better on the Saturday night re-match, when the forward dropped 36 points, including a school record 15-16 from the free throw line, and almost grabbed 10 rebounds.
