Kathleen Cahoon recorded a four-point weekend to help her top-ranked UBC Thunderbirds to a sweep of the Regina Cougars, which extended the team’s winning streak to 10 games.
 
Cahoon assisted on the game-winner and then added an insurance empty-net goal in UBC’s 4-1 triumph over Regina on Friday at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver.
 
Cahoon got the assist on the opening goal of Saturday’s game, then scored the game winner at 17:21 of the third period on the power play to give UBC a 3-2 win.
 
The fourth-year forward is now tied for third in Canada West scoring with 12 points in 12 games. UBC plays at Mount Royal this weekend.
