UBC Thunderbirds goaltender Danielle Dube gave up just one goal in 130 minutes of play this weekend as she recorded two wins over the Lethbridge Pronghorns to improve her record to a Canada West-leading 9-1-0

On Friday night, the visiting Pronghorns took the No. 6-ranked Thunderbirds to a shootout before finally falling 2-1. Lethbridge fired 45 shots at Dube in regulation and overtime but she was up to the task, making 44 saves. In the shootout, Dube kept the puck out of the net on four of the six penalty shots she faced.

On Saturday, Dube posted her first shutout of the season, turning aside 23 shots in a 3-0 victory.

She's won eight straight games in net for UBC and now leads the Canada West with nine wins overall.
