Paced by Andrew Harrison impressive individual performance, the UBC Thunderbirds men's golf team tied for fifth place at the 2016-17 season-opening Washington State Itani Quality Homes Collegiate tournament in Pullman, Wash. 
Harrison tied for fourth in the individual competition with a three-round score of 1-under par 212 . The second-year player surged up the leaderboard on Tuesday with a round of 4-under 67 that included eight birdies. Harrison opened with scores of 71 and 74 on Monday.
