MUSCLE MLK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK


John Gay (Kelowna, B.C.) finished second in the men's 1,500 meters at the Emilie Mondor Invitational, hosted by SImon Fraser University in Burnaby, B.C., on Saturday.
 
By finishing the race in three minutes and 52.80 seconds, the sophomore surpassed the NAIA 'A' standard, earning himself a place in the 1,500 at the national outdoor track and field championships in May. His time on Saturday is the fifth-best in the NAIA so far this season.
