MUSCLE MLK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK



Manar Kulkhan scored a pair of tries in the Thunderbirds 52-22 victory over the University of Victoria in the Rounsefell Cup as the BC CDI Premier League Champions.

Kulkhan, a second-year centre from Coquitlam, scored both of his tries in the second half as the Thunderbirds blew open the game to earn the 30-point victory.

With the win, UBC finished the season 18-7-1, winning the Rounsefell Cup for the first time since 1946-47, as well as the Wightman Boot (two-game series with Victoria) and World Cup (two-game series with University of California).
