MUSCLE MLK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Conner Kozak paced the UBC Thunderbirds men's golf team to a 13th-place finish at the 2015 Seattle University Redhawk Invitational at the Chambers Golf Course in University Place, Wash.

The first two rounds were played on Monday at the course that will host the U.S. Open later this summer.  All three rounds were par-70.

Kozak, a senior, finished alone in 11th place in the individual competition at 11-over 221 (72-76-73). 

UBC, the only non-NCAA Div. I team in the field, finished the event at 80-over par 920 (306-309-305), 66 behind the winning school, Washington.

The Thunderbirds will have a couple of weeks off before resuming play at the Association of Independent Institutions Conference Championship Tournament in Victoria, Texas April 27-28. UBC are the defending A.I.I. Champions.
