Gary brings over 40 years of playing experience to the UBC Thunderbirds women's soccer team. An assistant coach with the program, he holds a Canadian CSA National 'B' Licence in coaching.

His coaching experience includes working as a coach at the national training centre, with the BC soccer provincial team, and the USL Super Y League team

A native of London, England, Gary played in the English conference league from 1984 to 1988.
